The Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and FISH HARD! DREAM BIG! would like to announce the return of our annual “Take A Kid Fishing!” day. On Sat. June 24, 2006 we are planning to take 80-100 Little Brothers/Sisters along with their respective Big Brother/Sister out for a few hours of fishing on Lake Couchiching in a fun tournament atmosphere. The year’s event will take place out of Couchiching Beach Park in the Sunshine City of Orillia with a BBQ to follow the weigh-in. In 2006 we welcome aboard CRK’s Canadian Fishing Tour as a partner. New this year will be a silent auction to raise funds for the event and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of York.

Come and join in the fun and let’s make this truly a day to remember! This is a phenomenal opportunity for many of us as tournament anglers to give back to the sport that we all love by introducing a child to joy of fishing! Talk to anyone who participated last year and you’ll realize how rewarding an experience like this can be! Anglers with boats and sponsors are required to make this event a success!
