Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster University™ is billed as America’s premier fishing education program. It boasts three Bassmaster ® Classic Champions as previous attendees. Mike Iaconelli, Robert Hamilton and the late Bryan Kerchal were all Bassmaster University™ participants prior to winning the world championship of bass fishing -- The Bassmaster Classic. Iaconelli is the most recent Classic winner of the three. He attended Bassmaster University™ in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, several years before winning the Classic title in 2003.
Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster University™ will be held at the Marriott Toronto Airport in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on the weekend of February 18 and February 19, 2006.
Six top pros will be intructing, including the 1998 Bassmaster® Classic Champion Denny Brauer. Brauer also won the 1987 BASS Angler of the Year title and is bass fishing’s all-time leading money winner, having won over 2.5 million dollars fishing for bass. Also instructing will be Bassmaster® Classic Champions Woo Daves, Mark Davis and Ken Cook.

Host of the ESPN television series "Bass Class". Bass fishing’s all-time leading money winner, having won over 2.5 million dollars fishing for bass.

Three-time BASS Angler of the Year. He also won the coveted title in 2001, 1998 and 1995. 2000 World Championship Fishing winner. 1995 Bassmaster® Classic Champion and 1995 B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year. He is the only angler to ever win both titles in the same year. Thirteen-time Bassmaster® Classic Finalist.

Bassmaster University™ covers mainstream techniques such as plastic worms, crankbaits, topwater, flipping and pitching, and spinnerbaits. It also covers lesser-known techniques such as fishing the floating worm, finesse fishing, and electronics as well as advanced techniques for catching bass from mid-lake structure and when they suspend.
Bassmaster University™ has been inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame for contributions to education and conservation. All in all, Bassmaster University™ gives you the unusual opportunity to get into a classroom environment with North America's top pro anglers. It is, simply put, an accelerated course in bass fishing strategy.
Saturday's activities begin at 7 AM with on-site registration. Classroom instruction begins at 8 A.M. After an orientation session participants will attend six different workshop sessions with Saturday instructors Denny Brauer, Woo Daves, and Rich Tauber. Activities recess at 3 P.M., but participants are invited to attend informal "THINK TANK" sessions with individual instructors until 3:30 P.M.
Sunday's activities begin at 8 AM as instructors Mark Davis, Ken Cook, and Rocky Crawford conduct an additional six sessions followed by Sunday's "THINK TANK".
Enrollment fee for the two-day event is just $139. Spouses and children under 16 can attend for $104 with a full-paying adult. All participants receive a merchandise pack valued at $50, a copy of Bassmaster’s Techniques 2006 magazine, a 12-month BASS membership or discount, and 15% off Bass Pro Shops discount coupon (some restrictions apply). BASS members receive a $10 discount and BASS Insider members receive a $25 discount. Only one discount can be applied to each enrollment (BASS, Insider or spouse/child).
