Angler New Angler ("ANA")

This summer help us continue to grow competitive sport fishing by simply bringing out a New Angler to the forefront of the tournament scene.

An annual event brought to you by the CSFL and the Durham Anglers Association.

This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 on Lake Scugog out of Goreski’s.

Help us make this date an event a new angler will never forget, elevating them to a new level of angling that will test their skills like never before.

An event where Pro's bring their own Am's.

An Am is someone that has never fished in a for-profit event or a young angler under the age of 16. Please feel free to call the CSFL for any clarification about an event you may have fished.

Concept:
Each team will consist of 2 anglers, of which at least one of the anglers must never have competed in a “for profit” event. All applicable CSFL rules and regulations for team concept events will apply.

Blast-off is at 9:00 am with Weigh-in at 3:00 pm.

Please contact the CSFL should you like to participate. Anglers must be pre-registered by June 19 to ensure prizes and lunch for all participants.

This event continues to support Dave Mercer's Casting For A Cure and has raised over $10,000 for the charity to date. Dave Mercer's Casting For A Cure is in support of the Cancer Research Society.
