Simax Rods to become title sponsor!!!

The organizing committee of the 2013 OBN Hank Gibson Qualifier are proud to announce that Simax Rods has come on board as an event sponsor.

Not only is Simax an event sponsor, they are the title rod sponsor of the Soldier’s Event on Friday August 23, 2013.

On Friday August 23 of this year, an estimated 40 Soldiers from CFB Trenton will head out to compete with a Sr. event Pro to compete in a one day, 5 fish limit (bass only) shoot out to determine who is the best of CFB Trenton!

“Not only will the winning Soldier have a years worth of bragging rights, but every single competing Soldier in the event will go home with a Simax rod. A very classy move by the crew at Simax to donate a rod valued at $165 to each Soldier!” says Craig Butler, York President/Qualifier committee member.

“With the sacrifices the Canadian Soldiers give us all on a daily basis, this is the very least we could do. I was very pleased to help out when Craig and the committee approached us for support” states Alfred Zhou, CEO of Simax Rods.

On top of the generous support Simax is giving for the highly anticipated Soldiers event, Simax is also donating a rod to the Top 5 finishers of the OBN Hank Gibson Provincial Qualifier.
