The Mitchell’s Bay Open Bass Tournament

The Mitchell’s Bay Area Association is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 1st Annual The Mitchell’s Bay Open Bass Tournament on Friday, August 15 & Saturday, August 16th, 2014 (Rain date Sunday, August 17th, 2014) on beautiful Lake St. Clair. Tournament headquarters will be at Mitchell’s Bay Marina, Mitchell’s Bay, Ontario.

Only 120 boats will be accepted in this prestigious event. Entry fee is $550.00 with a Prize Board of $50, 000.00! Registration will begin on September 1st, 2013. Registration forms can be downloaded from at the links below and are also available at the marina office.

Blast off positions will be assigned as registrations are received!

All those who register will receive a Registration Package which will include accommodation and fine dining information, local tourist attractions, maps and a 5 day Launching Pass at the Mitchell’s Bay Marina commencing Wednesday, August 13th, 2014.

Please note that one partner (minimum) from each boat is required (mandatory) to attend the Information meeting on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at 7 PM at the Mitchell’s Bay Marina. Boat Stickers and Anglers Packages will be given out at this time. As well, a review of tournament rules (including weigh-in instructions) and the checking of Boat Licenses, Boat Insurance, and Fishing Licenses will be completed at this time. Live well and Safety Equipment checks will be done on each morning of the tournament.

On Tournament days truck and trailer parking will take place in the Mitchell’s Bay Memorial Park grounds and a shuttle service will be provided to the marina and back.
