A General Guideline to FATT Bass Anglers rules
FATT Bass Anglers Rules
1. Fun, Affordable Team Tournaments is the primary goal of the FATT Bass Anglers.
2. If at any point members have petty issues, please refer back to rule #1.
3. Two angler team only tournaments. Club membership is limited to 25 teams.
4. All boaters must have at least $1 million in boat liability insurance to participate.
5. You must be a CBAF member to participate in an event.
• 2014 FATT Bass Anglers membership is $80 per angler ($35 US to FLW, $15 US to TBF & $15 to the CBAF).
• The balance of dues will stay within the club to assist with operating expenses (ex: boat numbers, weigh bags, etc.)
• As a CBAF member, you are eligible to participate in other CBAF events with other clubs or joint events (www.cbaf.ca)
6. Meetings will be scheduled as necessary (as few as possible, as many as needed). There will be no reward or penalty for attendance. Most communication will be done via email so please check your inbox regularly and via www.cbaf.ca
7. Each team is responsible for care of its own fish and must release their catch into deep, open water following weigh-in.
8. Only non-invasive cull systems may be used. No piercing fish with cull systems.
Team of the Year (TOY)
1. Participants are eligible for Team of the Year by participating in five out of seven events.
2. Like golf, the team with the lowest point total for their five best events wins TOY.
3. Teams receive 1 point for winning an event, 2 for second, 3 for third, etc. If teams tie, points are split. (ex: if teams tie for first place, each team receives 1.5 points)
4. If there is a tie at season’s end for TOY, the Team with the highest cumulative weight for their best five events wins.
5. If a team member cannot make an event, the attending team member may fish solo and still have his points count towards TOY. If the attending member fishes with another angler, their result may not count toward TOY standings.
