Think if you had the classic on big waters you would end up losing alot of the anglers in the smaller boats. I know I wouldn't like to be out on Erie when the wind is a blowing.

I fished a CBAf tourney this year on a set of 3 lakes north of kingston...and it was fantastic..Dog/Whitefish/Cranberry lakes!
I like it when the classic is on a body of water that's not on the regular schedule. Ottawa River or Rideau gets my vote
Peace Out
Dan
I think Rideau makes the most sense.... it will draw some of the Renegade teams into our area to try to qualify. ...... & more teams = more coin to win.
& to maker abit more of a challenge, narrow it down to only 50 boats that qualify.....
Day 1, all 50 giver...
25 teams fish day 2,
& the top 10, fish day 3.
(i like todd's idea too. never fished there before.)
another option...
Huntsville.
What happend to lower buckhorn and stoney? Both are great fishery's and they had alot of votes last year.
godd call randy
So everyone can't use Head/Kashawigamog?Quote:

I agree with you Matt Stoney/Stoney and Lower Buckhorn for the last day would be great. If its going to be Big Water I have two words for the series and Classic, and its not Im In.
I've been out on erie more times then i can count in a 18ft skeeter with a 150 yammy , big water with the right precautions is a pretty weak arguement , especially with the river systems of the Niagara or the Couchaching of Simcoe.
But i get why people would be hesitant to fish bigger water , i know i was ! But once you head out and realize what its like you will very quickly get hooked ! nothing like hitting up your first fish and its 5 + .... and this happens all to often on erie ...
pete i know how id like to comment on that head thing but i wont,i think you get the drift of what im saying about popular waters maybe like rideau
I agree with Martin, Id like to see erie as the the classic, you also dont have to drive very far out of the river to catch big fish.
Rideau would be the best but I say have Andy pick a lake and not tell anyone till 5days before or even closer and have no prefish or not tell till the meeting the day before
Lots of decent lakes like mentioned,
Stoney and lakes within that region. Also under used are the lakes in the Tweed region.
If guys are willing to travel to the Rideau or Kingston then north of Bellville would be an option.
Tournaments have been stuck on the Tri Lakes long enough.
Imagine having the problem of too many great lakes in one province. We are spoiled.
Stoney, Stoney and Lower Buckhorn!! Would be fun..
Bring your spare props though!:*
