I will say 27.5 will be the cut line.
I'll go with 52.2lbs to win it all.
Got to go with Matt Hubble/Dave Bairstow. They are machines on RICE.
Not sure about the cut line, maybe 26.
Winning weight 54-56.
24 for the cut. C C Cold front
51 wins it
Hubble and Bairstow, Misslebrook and Kennedy, Dodd and Giles in the top 3 with Hubble and Bairstow holding the check at the end. Prove me right and got luck everyone

Cut line doesn't matter this is the classic
And the winning weight will be between 58-60.
Given the end of summer lol we have been in I think we should be breaking out of it just in time and the lake will be on fire (or at least as on fire as it can be after 100 guys pound it for a week).
The cut - 28 pounds
Win 56
Team Izumi or Matt and Dave but there are a lot of great anglers this year that know that lake including Chonger and Dan and of course Cory and Chris who can win anywhere.
If my practice SUnday meant anything - I figure 8 pounds for the cut, and 12 for the win - KRIPES!!! ...lol

I think it is the same everywhere but we are about to break out of this late summer slump. They can't hide from you for long:D
Good choices!! Cannot count out the Johnston Brothers on Rice, or anywhere in North America the past few years.Quote:

Also their home lake.
My money is on Jimmy Dood and Chris Giles to win with 59 lbs! Good luck boys!
The brothers are good....but I am pretty certain they can't win this one. They're on the Potomac for the FLW event!
?LOL
hey eugene i seen chris on the lake on sunday touching a bunch of areas. i think they are fishing it.
Pretty sure the Johnstons are fishing it.. I've seen the 3 of them out a few times this week..
Just saw a short news story on the Classic on the 6:00 news - day 3 weigh-in is at Del Crary Park here in the 'Boro so the tourney is news worthy this year.
In the interview, Andy said Chris is fishing with Lynn, just wanted to pass that on since some posts above were wondering.
Thanks for clarifying Darren.
That's awesome the classic made the news!
Kennedy and Misslebrook for the win with 55 lbs.
Good job with the news story.
This is Rice in late summer / early fall. And given everything is sped up a bit this year, we could see an early fall feeding frenzy by this weekend as if it were late Sept. I think it'll take atleast 62 lbs to win. Prob be a mixed bag affair, so my money is on the Lynn and Chris if they are fishing together...They seem to catch em good green or brown no matter where they are, never mind their home waters...
I'm guessing the opposite, that the fall bite starts late ....Erik and Gouch with 54.01
52 for the win, mostly green fish I think and odds favorites you gotta like Dodds/Giles to win and I agree Hubble & Baristow could pull it off as well they have fished Rice a bit.
I'm gonna have to agree with Tom. With the very hot summer we've had and the weather still being warmer than average I cant see the lake being on fire at the start of the classic, and with the unstable weather patterns that are about to come our way I can't see things really turning on but I could be wrong. After all this is Rice Lake. If those smallies decide to chew its gonna be a heck of a tournament.
18 a day wins it.....54lbs
With water temps at 77 yesterday def not anywhere near fall ready....it will be a late fall bite out there this yr.....it's the dog days of August in September....
2013 Classic Winning Weights?!?!?!?!? How about the winning weights for this weekend's Classic first ?:P
Dodd/Giles for the win - 50.8 lbs
How bout justin and allen?? I wouldnt overlook those boys right now. I say they win with 17 a day. 51 lbs wins it.
Ryan Crowley wins it fishing alone, with 1 rod, 1 jig, no net, and using only his trolling motor.
book it. 75 lbs.
Actually , Im thinkin 51 lbs - 18ish,18ish,15ish.
Several of the bm100 teams will be there at the end in my opinion...
Crowley, Short/Walter, Justin/Alan, Spencer/Cressman
Go get'm Matt and Dave!!! Gl to everyone though.
I still thought we were in 2012!! have I missed a whole year:D
I say Lynn and Chris take it with 57lbs
