Results from the QFS Classic

Thought I would write a quick note to wrap up another great season, add a little more to the above posting and to thank the many anglers from the Quinte area and around the province that participated in the Series in 2005. Thank you to Bruce here at BFB and to Dan at quintefishing.com for helping us post results and getting info to our anglers and also to those who just want to keep up with whats happening around the "Bay". The Q.F.S. has enjoyed another successful tournament season with all tournament entries up from last year with a number of new teams enjoying the great fishing on the "Bay". This year saw the Series return to our anglers over $50,000.00 in cash and prizes and with 2006 being our tenth anniversary ( where does the time go!!) we hope to add another twist or two to make this tenth season special. A special congratulations again to our "Team of the Year", Chris Sherman and Dave Henderson who had an amazing year with three first place finishes, one third and a fourth to claim this title and also to our Quinte Classic champions, Andy and Darcy Asselstine with their two day weight of 39.41 lbs. The Series works hard to give our anglers a well run, payback friendly and FUN series to fish and I thank all staff,especially Rick, and committee members for their time and efforts in accompishing this. We look forward to the 2006 season and dates for next year will be posted in the next week or so. Have a great fall and good fishing, Pete :cool:
