The Aurora Bassmasters are excited to announce that Lionshead Lakefront Resort and Yacht Club in Jackson’s Pt ON is now the official host hotel for the 2007 Bass Pro Shops (BPS) Lake Simcoe Open.

Glenn and Lianne, Innkeepers at Lionshead were thrilled to hear of the news that the BPS Lake Simcoe Open had moved from the west side of Simcoe to the east. “We are located about five minutes from Sibbald Point Provincial Park – the new home of the BPS Open, and have years of experience catering to the needs of our angler clientele. We believe our new partnership with the BPS Lake Simcoe Open is an excellent opportunity to highlight the great trophy bass fishery in Lake Simcoe. We hope that by aligning ourselves with an event of this calibre that not only will tournament anglers think of Lionshead as the place to stay when they visit the lake, but so too will the every-day anglers who come here to enjoy our great multi-species, year round fishery.”

Additionally, Lionshead will, provide anglers with The BPS Lake Simcoe Open Group Rate for Friday and Saturday night from $99.00 for a standard room. Limited rooms are still available at this rate. With a two night booking, anglers can add the Thursday or Sunday night room for only 79.00. Anglers and their supporters will enjoy full use of the Indoor heated pool, whirlpool, sauna and games room in the main lodge.
