    Emergency surgery on Andy Pallotta

Those of you who fished the Orillia Fall Challenge probably heard Andy complaining he wasn't feeling well on Sunday morning. Well he sure wasn't.

Andy underwent emergency surgery last night to remove his appendix.

He is currently in recovery at Markham/Stouffville Hospital and will be in the hospital for about 5 days....

    get well soon Andy.

Don't worry guys, Andy is a tough guy and has a lot of intestinal fortitude. Besides, .........Vita wouldn't allow him to not get better!:P

Best wishes to the whole family and get well soon.

I just got off the phone with Vita and the big guy's doing better this morning. Apparently the doctor claims he must have been sick for a little while but just kept it to himself because it was fairly severe. The doctor said this morning Andy will be in the hospital for atleast 5-6 days but most likely 7-8 days.

A quick and painless recovery to you Andy, and thanks for the hats and the offer to stay over to see the Sunday weigh-in of the fall challenge. You sure have a high pain threshold...like some of the guys have said...on Saturday no one could tell that you were feeling lousy. Get well soon... as a spectator,it is fun and exciting to watch you on stage. You really bring the show to life, not to mention the anglers bringing in their catch for the day and their stories.

    See you next year,
