Don't forget to get insurance... you will be looking at a minimum of $20,000.00+ to start plus at least another $5,000.00+ in Brokerage fees if you go at it on your own. These fees are yearly. And if you do not pay promptly you will also be looking at late fees and the insurance will become null and void. There maybe a 30 day window with some policies as well when starting, or restarting. Too many people have thought they were covered in the past from their parent organization only to findout they never were.

I'd hate to be in an event if there was no coverage. All it takes is one little small accident / incident and you and your group are done.

And it does not matter the size of the club, generally they look at the number of events. Tournaments, meetings etc.

FYI you may want to look at hooking up with any organization currently out there. They will have insurance in place. You will be paying at least $35.00 CDN for coverage per person if you do.

This insurance will cover any and all members, 3rd party, AD&D etc.
