For those of you that haven't heard, here are some rule changes/updates from last October in the CSFL.

CSFL 2008 Rule Changes

Please take note of the following rule changes for the CSFL 2008 Season:

Rule #10. There shall be no advantageous third party communication on or off the water during the event with competing or non-competing individuals. Doing so may result in disqualification.

Rule #12. Canada/US Walleye event limit - 4 walleye per team, no more than one fish may be longer than 46 cm (18.1").

Rule #37. The official blast-off time is 7:00 am and weigh-in time is 3:00 pm each day (if time changes are required, notification will be given). During 2-day events, the Classic or back to back events, your boat must be out of the water or docked for the day within 2 hours after the final weigh-in. This also applies 2 hours before check in on the morning or afternoon of all events.

Rule #53. Top 25 teams from the BM100's Tour will advance to the Classic XII. BM100 Team of the Year and qualification for Bassmania Classic XII is based on combined points using four out of the five events, utilizing one of the WildCards as the 5th event. BM100 qualifiers must use BM100 spec boat for any WildCard and may upsize boat for Classic XII.

Please note, this season of the CSFL, blast-off times for all events, unless otherwise notified, will commence at 7:00 am. The heats will be as follows: Boats numbered 1 to 40 inclusive will blast off at 7:00 am; Boats numbered 41 to 80 will blast off at 7:15 am; Boats numbered 81 to 120 will blast off at 7:30; and so forth. Check in time will be 3:00 pm for the first heat; 3:15 pm for the second heat; 3:30 pm for the third heat; and so forth.
