    NEWS!!!!!! TOP BASS DATES FOR 2009...... SITES NOW APPROVED!!!

    2009 SCHEDULE

    July 11th Tri-Lakes $200 for team entry

    July 12th Tri-Lakes $200 for team entry

    July 26th Balsam Lake $200 for team entry

    August 8th Rice Lake $200 for team entry

    August 9th Rice Lake $200 for team entry

    August 16th Lake Scugog $200 for team entry

    August 30th Stoney Lake $200 for team entry

    Need five tournaments for qualifying.

    Best five count.


    The Classic will be the weekend after the Labor Day weekend

    The cycle that it is on would take it to Balsam Lake in 2009
    Rice Lake in 2010
    Tri-Lakes 2011
    Then repeat.

    This cycle was voted on by the competitors a few years ago and again at the 2008 clasic meeting.

    The website says (under Rules On Classic on the 2009 entry form) that you need a minimum of 4 to qualify for the Classic and your best 6 weights count. Again in Rule #27?

    Please clarify?

    Classic = Balsam on Sept 12 & 13

    Ted has dropped the number of tournaments to 4 to qualify for the classic to account for the drop down to 7 tournaments overall. But he will reward the teams that fish more than 4 by including any teams best 6 finishes to help improve their qualifying. Truthfully if you fish 4, it is a safe bet that you will qualify for the classic. Yes the Classic is on Balsam Sept 12 and 13.
