Very Hypathetical but..........................
Just curious as to if the 30 lbs gets broken, and farther into the weigh in, the 30 lbs gets broke again, in the same tournament, who will get the award for breaking the 30 lbs, will it be the first team that does it, or the highest weight team? It is a possiblity this could happen.

I would think it would be the highest team. This happened a few years ago at the Tip from the tackle box T. If a fish over 6 pounds was caught the boater and non-boater both won a new boat each. There were two 6 pounders caught that day and the biggest one won the boats.

Tom is correct.

It goes to the winning Team should they break 30lb . . . in
the event two teams were to break the 30lb mark; therein, again, the winning Team takes the bonus. Should a Canadian tournament set a new record prior to the Simcoe Open, that would be the new benchmark and thus that record would have to be broken at the Simcoe Open .

Thanks for the clarification guys. Its what I thought but also thought it could be a point of question seeing it was always said the "first" to break 30 lbs.
