The question has been brought forth to see if there would be any interest in a Junior Bassmasters club in the Niagara/Hamilton Area.
The junior format would run similar to the senior level clubs, with monthly meetings, and a small series which anglers would compete against others in their respective age groups. 11-14 & 15-18. Juniors would pay an entry fee for each event and boat with a senior member. A member from each age group would fish out of one boat with the opportunity to fish there water for half of the day, the senior would be there to operate and to give guidance during tournament hours. Proposed would be a 3 tournament year, 2 qualifying events and a championship event with the chance to make team Ontario, which would be held in conjunction with the Barrie Junior Bassmasters.
In order to advanced to the qualifier a conservation project must be submitted by the youth angler.
Parents would also be asked to be involved as volunteers.

Right now this is only an idea, and we are looking for interest before we proceed,
There would be a annual club membership and all members must be a members of BASS.
The average breakdown of cost would be as follows
