    Q.F.S. Dates 2010 (copied from quintefishing.com)

    Hello Quinte Fishing Series Anglers,

Well, it is time to get some info to our anglers for the 2010 season. Sorry that we are a little later getting this out to you but the executive have been working on some new ideas/sponsorship possibilities over the last month and had hoped to have this out to you now. But at this moment we are not in a position to announce anything yet so we wanted to get at least the new schedule and pricing out now.

    2010 Entry Fees

After a number of years with no change in entry fees (the last change in fact was a reduction for the two day events), the executive has decided that with the increased expenses and staff involved with running a quality tournament circuit, that entries would go up in 2010.

    Therefore, the entries are as follows: 1 day- $175.00 p/team & 2 day- $250.00 p/team.

    · Season entries will be based on the first five (5) tournaments – 3 one day events and 2 two day events: $1,025.00 per team.

    · Season entries with Big Fish Pool money included: $1,165.00 per team.

    · Season entries/Big Fish Pool money/Memberships: $1,245.00 per team.

    · For teams that make the Classic, an entry fee of $250.00 must be paid by Wednesday, September 8th , 2010.

    2010 Tournament Dates

You will notice that for 2010, all tournaments will now be going out of Belleville. Although we would like to hold events in other locations, with the numbers of teams that are now fishing this Series, we need adequate ramps and parking and unfortunately there are not a lot of choices in this area.

    · Sunday, May 30th - S. George St., Belleville - Walleye

    · Sat. & Sun., July 3-4th - S. George St., Belleville - Bass - largemouth only

    · Sunday, July 18th - S. George St., Belleville - Bass

    · Sat. & Sun., Aug. 14-15th - S. George St., Belleville - Bass

    · Sunday, August 29th - S. George St., Belleville - Bass

    · The QUINTE CLASSIC – Sept. 18-19th - S. George St., Belleville - Bass

As stated earlier, the executive hope to make some further announcements in the very near future pertaining to the upcoming season so please keep checking this website. Also as a reminder, entries for the 2010 season will NOT be taken till after Nov.15th, 2009. Take care – good luck to all the hunters out there!!

Yours in fishing – Pete Thompson, Tournament Director
