Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing (2010)

In support of The Soldier On, The City of Kingston Ontario will host the “Canadian Open of Fishing". This boater, non boater event will take place July 22, 23, and 24th, 2010 on the waters of Lake Ontario.

This event is limited to 80 boats. Pro Anglers will be fishing for over $100,000 in prize money for the best 3 day total weight. Non boaters will be fishing for a prize payout that has not been seen in Ontario tournaments for many years.

The payouts are as follows: Payouts reflect an 80 boat field.

Entry fees are $1,000.00 for the Pro and $600.00 for the Non-Boater. [/align]

Interesting, we have seen lots of posts talking about pro ams. Now if I am not mistaken we have [2] new tournaments on back to back weekends.

Just curious, does anyone know if the AM's are going to be fishing with or separately from their boater? If its with then its a luck of the draw for the AM's. Hopefully it is "separately", cause then the AMs are fishing against just the AM's! Just my 2 cents worth!

Excellent! Great to see the Canadian Open up and going again. This will be a first class event on a great fishery!

Looks like I will miss the BASS Champlain event again, Oh well.
