Well,I'll be there for the tourney and most likely will be looking to bunk up and share a room with someone or two to help keep hotel/motel expenses down.

Your best bet is to find a couple of other guys and stay downtown at one of the hotels/motels. This would put you within walking distance of the weigh-in/check-in (?Portsmouth?) AND you can enjoy some of Kingston's night life at any of the hundred+ bars restaurants after the day is done.

There are no campsites <30mins from morning check-in.

The many years I have fished out of the Kingston its always been a blast, I agree. Great resturants, cool bars and lots to do. I always stay at the same Hotel, same room.....lol...creature of habit...my Mom lives in town...so I get Moms cooking....

There are some people who run the some of the smaller Hotels that are great hosts....and of course the best Canadian Tire in ALL of Canada!...lol

Really looking forward to this event.

    Peace Out

Here is a link to the Local KOA campground.
Located about 15min to the weigh in depending on route and traffic.
