    O.C.A.A. Dinner Party

Congratulations to the Ontario Chinese Anglers Association and Thank You for inviting me to your 2009 Dinner Party.

I continue to be impressed by the relentless time and effort your Directors and Membership offer the fishing community and enrichment of the sport for all.

Your fundraising efforts and abilities to bring awareness, promotion and assistance to those in need are admirable and the envy of the entire fishing community.

    Keep up the good work.

    Sincerely

    Jack Summers

I agree. The Ontario Chinese Anglers Association do a great job with anything and everything that is needed in the fishing community. Their tireless efforts do not go unnoticed.

They also know how to eat.....wow!!!! Simon and I had to leave around 10:30 last night as I had to work in the morning and it was going to be a couple hour drive home. They were still serving dinner and still had some more courses before dessert.

Thank you again for inviting both Simon and myself again this year!!!!!

    Keep up the great work!!!!

    Melanie

Yes ... the OCAA is a great organization and I've been very fortunate to have had the honor to work with them on several projects over the last 10 years.

It was neat to see so many of the who's who within the fishing world in attendance at the annual dinner party on Saturday... including our Minister of Natural Resources Donna Cansfield. Of course sitting next to you Jack and finally having the chance to meet the man behind the legendary Radiworld was also a real treat.

They raised some serious coin at Saturday's dinner auction - thanks to all the generous corporate support and of guys like Simon who donated a day on the water. Of course the money the OCAA donates to groups like Metro East Anglers for the Ringwood Fish hatchery and to the Taiwan Aid Relief fund is also incredibly impressive.

Yes Mel - that food was something eh ... I think the last course finally arrived at 11pm ... some type of sweet warm soup - not sure what it was, just know it was real tasty!

    Wil
