    Speed Zones on Lake St.Francis

I was looking over my paper chart as well as the Navionics chart of Lake St. Francis and I noticed some Speed Zone restrictions that I find unclear.... Is the whole main lake channel restricted ...? It also appears that there are different speed restrictions depending on direction as well..... Anyone with actual on water time there that could clarify ....?

I'm not aware of any speed zones in the main lake, but I could be wrong. Where on the map, I'll look tonight when I get home.

It may be something for the freighters, as it is a pretty recreation lake, with alot of shore line population... I'm just speculating.

    Not for pleasurecraft

    Hi Mike,

The speed restrictions noted on the maps are for commercial shipping vessels.

    Not for pleasurecraft boats.
