Fantasy Fishing for the Kingston Open?

    Hey Guys,

I've been mulling around this idea for a while and thought I'd put it out for some feedback.

I was thinking of setting up a fantasy fishing game for the Kingston event. I can use the same program I've used for the Renegade Fantasy Fishing.

I was thinking a $5 or $10 buy in, with 50% going to the winner, and %50 going to Soldier On.

    Something like:
    - Pick 5 anglers
    - Score based on weight
    - Bonus weight if your guy has top individual 3 weight each day, 2 lb, 1lb, and 0.5 lb.
    - bonus if you pick the winner - 3lbs

I would manage all the funds via Paypal or Mail.

    So the questions are:

    - Would you be interested in playing this?
    - Is it better at $5 a head, or $10 a head?
    - Or, is this a total waste of my time and I should get back out on the lake?

Wow! Great response! Please keep them coming.

Thanks Everyone... I'm going to go ahead and pull this together.

Thank you very much Bob and Shimano Canada for the rod donation, above and beyond as usual!

I've also been approached for other product donations, and will work that out shortly.

Maybe we'll end up with cash and prizes for 1st, and some prizes for second.

Jacko.... Everyone can play, and pick themselves!

Pete, I'm hoping the bonus weights take care of any ties. Maybe I'll add that if there is a tie, we'll add lbs based on if your picks are in there position in the top 5.

    Only in a tie breaker situation if who you picked for 1st finishes 1st - 5lbs, 2nd- 4lbs, 3rd - 3lbs, 4th - 2lbs, 5th- 1lb

If there is a tie beyond that... I'll split stuff up fairly.

Remember the main goal of this is to have some fun, and raise some $$ for Soldier On.
