130 teams in the classic !

    Holy Crap.

The number will decrease with double qualifying.

Some teams/individuals have qualified two, three, four times!!!! The field will be smaller for sure.

Not that I have any say but any series I have fished it has been the top 40 teams or anglers that make the classic. I know less than the 120 will be there, but even 60 is too many.
    Best of luck to all.

I wouldnt say everyone makes the classic. There are some serious anglers on that roster that didn't make the classic. I think going from top 25 to 25% was a good call. With soo many tours feeding the classic its inevitable to have that many in the end. The first two days will ween them down to 20 or whatever the number is and then it will be the best of the best going for the best classic payback in CSFL history. I can't wait!!!

Keep in mind that there is a wack of double/triple/quadruple qualifiers on the Classic list.

I look forward to learning a new body of water and competing for a guaranteed $50 000 Lund/Mercury voucher/package.

See you all at the ramp!!!!!

I'd like to welcome all the qualifiers to the Haliburton Highlands for the CSFL Classic. I guess since I suck at this game (see not everyone quallifies) I will be your ramp master. (I like cream in my coffee btw :P )

I have asked the town to open the gates along the walkway beginning this weekend to help ease the parking congestion in town. Anyone who participated last year or this year will be familiar with the format. We parked 80 plus tow rigs easily using the sides of the walkway. Please do not block the walkway though.

I am looking forward to seeing the greatest sticks in Ontario unlock this chain of lakes. Wish we were with you.

    Pat

I said it SEEMS everyone makes the classic, not everyone. I also agree going from 25 to 25% was a great call! Just simply giving my opinion that I like the old school 40,50, or 60boat fields or cutoffs. Anyways Goodluck to all, probably just sour grapes because of my busted boat LOL!

    Cheers.

Great job in posting results so quickly.
It's not the number of competitors I worry about.
    Just the fish!
