Hey Danny,

As was communicated at our AGM, Yamaha and Ranger contacted us to express that they are already in for next year. The Classsic prize for 2011 will be at least as big as this past year (Yamaha 200SHO/Ranger 198 DC, plus all the toys) and we will continue to work on behalf of the membership to build the prize structure!!!

Already more than 30 teams registered for the Early Bird Draw!!! We are on pace to surpass last year's draw which included 55 boats.

Does anyone know if there is a cut off period for CSFL's classic like this year? Considering doing some but not sure if there is a conflict with the Aug 20th venue.

Sean,

In speaking with Andy P today, he confirmed that there would not be an off-limits period for Big Rideau. Participation in the Renegade event would not violate any of the CFSL Classic rules.

It looks like we'll have 50 teams in the Early Bird draw for starting positions for 2011. Wednesday December 1, 2010 is the last day to send in your completed entry forms to be eligible for the Early Bird Draw. With $5000 for first place at each event and payouts to 20Th, the $300 entry fees represent great value, last year payouts exceeded 164%. Ranger and Yamaha have already ensured that next year's Classic Boat and Motor Prize will be our biggest to date.

As members, we are pretty pleased with the anticipated improvements for next season which will build on 2010. A couple of press releases are being composed as we speak which divulge a few more incredible advancements for the upcoming year. As a federally registered not for profit association, we have the luxury of making all kinds of decisions which would be in betrayal of profit but otherwise great for the series, members and sponsors ?LOL

We certainly hope that you come back soon!!! Otherwise I will see you in Kingston for the Canadian Open.
