    Simrad NSS-8 is Here!

    As I mentioned last week we have been expecting a Simrad NSS-8 demo model to display…well its here! And what a unit this is! Simrad hit the nail on the head with this one. The hybrid touch screen and keypad interface makes this unit very easy and quick to use.



    We have the unit loaded with a Navionics Platinum+ chart and StructureScan! Come and take a look at this unit for yourself and see what its all about!

    For what you get with these units they are very reasonalbly priced. The NSS7 and NSS8 come with a built in sonar, while the NSS-12 requires a black box.

    The units look pretty awesome! I look forward to Saturday at Radioworld and going through the unit in detail. James from what I have heard the side imaging is incredible. I will fill you in on the unit Saturday night after I return from the Seminars.

    What an insane unit this is. I like.
    Lawren, I have another question do you need the structure scan box for the side imaging or just the transducers of your not set up with the Lowrance HDS Structure Scan already?

    Ya mark they will from what I understand everything is the same but the power cord. Truly amazing unit for sure!

    Bummer. Looks like it's going to be the 898si on my console. The Simrad is an unbelievable unit, but I would need everything to get it running. Really it's an upgraded screen for guys who are already running an HDS StructureScan.
