Hey Jim if it is "simple stuff" then why all the confusion. I think the Fishing World No Tax sale has been very misleading. As Aaron said I guess they must have reduced all of their pricing by 13% before the sale and after the sale is one to assume that the prices will go back up by 13%. Something seems " fishy."

We run a similar promotion at Paddletales, but rather than a "no tax" sale, it perhaps should be called a "tax included" sale, because the govenment is getting their cut one way or another. I think that is what Blake is trying to say.

It's a type of sale many retailers run. You still save the 13% in the end.

The item was reduced by 13% to offset the taxes which are also 13 %, so one cancels out the other and you end up paying what the sale price marked on the item was.

If it was 10 dollars on the sale sticker then that is all you will pay.

The point I was making was the items I had purchased had not been reduced, it was an error and Fishing World is now making it right.
