There are also a lot of products on the market but the School-E Rig from Picasso/TruTungsten is far and away the most popular in the market and here's why.

Note to dealers - if you need School-E Rig stock, please contact us ASAP as the demand is already very strong - matt@hookset.com

School-E-Rig is the "hottest fishing tool on the bass market today" - the Picasso School-E-Rig is handcrafted in the USA using premium American-made components. The Picasso School E-Rig is also completely Lead-Free. The fish head is constructed from impact resistant plastic - not lead. Often referred to as an umbrella-rig, the School-E-Rig is designed to resemble a school of baitfish. It can be cast and retrieved at a steady pace or allowed to fall through suspended schools of fish. Very versatile as well, it can be rigged with a wide variety of lures, including soft plastic swimbaits, grubs, jig heads and small spinnerbaits. The wire length is 6”.

School-E-Rig Junior- Designed with the collaboration of Elite Series Pro Fred Roumbanis and FLW Pro Brent Ehrler the Junior is a downsized version from our Original S-E-R. It incorporates a 5’” wire length with the center wire being longer to simulate a trailing baitfish straying from the rest of the school. It is ideal for rigging the 3” and 4” paddle tail swim baits that have become very popular and allows better accuracy and casting of the rig. Great for casting around docks, blowdowns and other structure where accurate placement is key. The Junior model uses the same American made premium components as the original S-E-R including a smaller high impact resistant plastic head and imbedded nose swivel to prevent line twist and assure true running of the rig avoid and assure ideal function. We recommend rigging with Picasso’s Smart Mouth Fish Head Jigs in 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4oz

Finesse School-E-Rig- Is the smallest of the Picasso Rigs and also designed with the collaboration of Elite Series Pros Fred Roumbanis and FLW Pro Brent Ehrler the Finesse S-E-R incorporates a 3.5 “ wire length which makes it the ideal rig when added casting accuracy is needed for casting around docks, blowdowns and other structure. Also great for highly pressured waters and tough fishing conditions such as clear water when the need to downsize to small paddle tail swim baits and grubs is needed. The Finesse version uses American made premium components including an impact resistant plastic head and nose swivel to prevent line twist and assure true running of the rig and ideal function. We recommend rigging with Picasso’s Smart Mouth Fish Head Jigs in 1/16 and 1/8oz.

The School-E Rig is the only Alabama Rig on the market that sticks to the original design and it's one of the reasons why they are selling so well. Brent Ehrler just won $125,000 in FLOW on Hartwell with his biggest fish coming on the School-E Rig. The rig also is available with both Gammy or Mustad hooks and dummy heads are available to conform to Ontario laws.

I'm headed to Okeechobee next week and intend to give it a full run through when I'm there!
