Kingston Canadian Open - Amateur Positions Available

The are still a few amateur positions still available for the Canadian Open. From what I understand the final spots have been filling over the last few days.

If you need more information just go to Kingston Canadian Open - CSFL

Anyone looking for practice partners to help with expenses?

I have a couple of amateurs that wouldn't mind a day on the water.

    Amatuer pairing

Are they still picking the pairings before hand or have they gone back to the fair way of picking out of the hat?

Yes, there are spots available and also you'll draw your partner from a hat.

For sure a great event, I'm looking forward to fishing it again this year. If you can fish it, sign up we want to ensure the event keeps coming back every year. There are very few events with this kind of payout.

    Take care out there.

    Peace Out

It was my first Kingston Open as an amatuer last year and it is a great event especially if your're just getting into tournament fishing. You get to fish with 3 great guys and great fishermen, you learn so much, and it really is a fun event with great payouts. (Hopefully there are no cancellations of a day this year due to wind and waves!!)

Hey Kevin, I hear ya. Last year when that happened a few of us took our nons to an inland lake and went fun fishing for the day. We had a blast.

    Peace Out

I remember last year too that quiet a few guys backed out last minute and left some anglers hanging and not able to compete in the event and hopefully that doesnt happen again either. But please sign up and fill this tournament up, you wont regret it.

Pretty stoked about getting back down there for sure. If you've not ventured out on these waters before you should really consider coming out ans sampling what is arguably some of the best fishing (for both largemouth and smallmouth) in the province!

    see you there ........ G!
