Sad, sad day for the tournament community and of course for all friends and Family of Pete's. He was a great guy and a straight shooter. Ran a great series. He will certainly be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

Truley sad news, Pete was a great guy. I first fished with Pete at the Kingston Pro/Am in the GM days,he was my Non boater and kept me calm all day ( I needed it) that's where I first met him. He will be missed for sure, thoughts and prayers to his family. Please keep us posted on arrangements.

Throughout the past 20+ years Pete’s values, community focus, and love of family and friends helped shape our sport into what it is today.

Pete’s smiling face and kind heart will be missed.

Pete definately epitomized everything that "should be" in competitive fishing; honesty, integrity, helpful and kind. He set a standard we should all strive to follow. A great man, a great loss; our thoughts and prayers.
