Congratulations to Bob and Jason for an unprecedented 4th win in the Simcoe Open. Ad to this two second place finishes and a couple of thirds this team dominates Simcoe in October.

During a week of high winds and constantly changing weather patterns and in the middle of lake turnover, practicing and trying to put together patterns was almost impossible. But the team that understands this period a little better than most manage to find them and catch them.

This was one of the lowest average weights in recent history with only one bag over 27 pounds. This was due to conditions for practice and tournament day. Anyone leaving the Atherly Narrows narrows and hitting the wall of 6 footers knew it was going to be a battle. The fish were out there and a few managed to find some that would bite. A week later and this could be a very different story. Big fish went to Derek Strub and Mike Desforges a 7.75 pound brute.

A big thanks to the Aurora Bassmasters for another great job. The club volunteers did another exceptional job of organizing the morning flow with over 100 boats. Thanks to the CSFL for another great year end performance and of course to BPS for sponsoring this event along with all of the contributing sponsors.
