Great show this week, 3-time World Champion George Cochran is our guest on Renegade Bass Radio (RBR). Credentials’ including 2 Bass Master Classic Titles and Forest Wood Cup Champion has solidified George Cochran’s position amongst the best there ever was. George has been long since recognized as one of the all-time best shallow water anglers and will share some of his secrets on how to catch pressured shallow fish. As well he will talk about his perspective on the importance of color. In August of this year, George announced his retirement from Professional fishing in an effort to stroke off some of the items on his bucket list. In pre-interview, he communicated that his desire to continue to educate is stronger than ever and jokingly mentioned that he no longer needs to keep anything secret. George will continue to serve both Ranger and Evinrude as his lifelong experiences as a boater make him an almost irreplaceable asset to his two longtime sponsors. Great information coupled with George’s warm and sincere personality will make for a great show.

Ish Monroe is perhaps the most dynamic personality in professional fishing today. His incredible angling skills are complimented by his ability to evoke his contagious enthusiasm for the sport in everyone he meets. Coming off another stellar year which includes a victory on Okeechobee and another Classic Qualification, Ish will reflect on his year and share what he has up his sleeve for next season. As mentioned by all of the great anglers who visited with us on RBR, Ish recognizes the importance of his electronics and will further identify the requirement for fluency in this day of technology. As both a spokesperson for Navionics and Lowrance, Ish will give us an insight as to what we can look forward to from these great companies.

Competing on either the Bass Elite Series or the FLW Tour is often a subtle demonstration that you have “arrived” on the world stage. Competing in both simultaneously is challenge attempted by very few; however this is the plan for Ish Monroe in 2013. We will be able to follow this modern day warrior armed with his flippin’ sticks as he campaigns his “Cocoon’s” wrapped Ranger in the BASS Elite Series. The FLW Tour will see Ish navigate the events in his newly wrapped “River 2 Sea” Ranger. Join us on Saturday morning as Ish speaks about this insane idea of winning at both Nascar and the F1 as he fishes amongst the worlds best.

Growin’ up on the Cal Delta, Ish knows mats. Listen carefully as Ish describes how to become a more effective “puncher”. “Mats are mats, it doesn’t matter if you’re on Falcon Lake or in the Thousand Islands big bass live under the mats, says Monroe, and the sooner you learn how to punch mats, the closer you’ll be to cashin some cheques!!”.

Here at RBR we continually sing the praises of Fall fishing. The cooperative nature of the biggest fish and the selfish tranquility of our lakes and rivers devoid of boaters and worse yet jet skiers makes the end of the year our favorite time to fish. The presence and potential participation of great fish still requires subtle changes especially in our lure selection. Cold water lure selection and effective presentation is the subject of the Berkley Fishing Tip on RBR

Rounding out the show is a brief mention on how to pass the time when we’re not angling through information found on the web. Fishing forums can be a great way to share and learn about this sport we love. We’ll be talking about a few of the great ones.

Please keep the questions rolling and the new guest ideas flowing. We always mention you directly if production of our show was your idea. Thank You
