    587ci hd Di interference - moved from electronics forum

    Hi all, last year I ran the above mentioned humminbird & it ran great. However, there was one recurring problem. Very time I ran the livewell pump, the finder would suddenly pickup tones of false fish signals. Now either my livewell has magical fish attracting qualities or there is some kind of feedback or something going on. Is there a filter or something I can install in the line to prevent this???

    Do you have your fishfinder powered directly to a battery? Do you have it wired to the dash wiring?
