Here we are in early February, and we are catching our breath before a REAL busy spring. Last weekend, we ventured to Bowmanville to a tackle swap put on by Peter Seto. The results made the trip well worthwhile and Peter did an outstanding job running the event.
Next up is the annual Paddletales Wing Ding Spring Sale Thing. This runs concurrent with the Ottawa Outdoors show, February 19 to 22 (we will be open on the Sunday This week) but is held in-house. Lots of sales, prostaff on hand, and of course free food. We will have more on this as the date gets closer.
Next up is a Megabass event, held at Paddletales on March 14. Theo Cheng will be at Paddletales with a great selection of Megabass lures and rods. Not sure if he is bringing reels at this time. This is a great opportunity to see all the new lines from Megabass.
April 18th we will be hosting a bass seminar at the Lion’s hall. The lineup is still being worked on at this time, but JP Derose will be our guest speaker. Preregistration will be required to attend this event.
May 23rd, we are back at the Lion’s hall, but for a tackle swap this time. It will run from 9am to 2pm and tables will be available at a low cost for you to sell your unwanted tackle (and make room for new stuff lol). Again, an announcement will be made when we are ready to take registrations for tables.
We are trying to fit in one more doo this spring, but not sure where or when. If we get it sorted out we will let you know.
