    Welcome to the 2015 Canadian Pro Bass Tour

    The Competitive Sport Fishing League welcomes you to the 2015 Canadian Pro Bass Tour. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our returning Pro’s and Am’s for your continued support and welcome our new anglers to the circuit. We look forward to an exciting season and hope the CPB Tour will meet your expectations as you exceed your goals.

    Things you should know leading up to the events!

    Kawartha Cup, Rice Lake: July 3 - 4, is off limits to pre-fish, navigation or pleasure boating one half hour after sunset Sunday, June 21, 2015 to one half hour after sunset on Friday, June 26, 2015.
    Competitors must be off the water by 4:00 pm the night prior to the event (Thursday, July 2, 2015).

    Simcoe Showdown, Lake Simcoe: July 24 - 25, is off limits to pre-fish, navigation or pleasure boating one half hour after sunset Sunday, July 12, 2015 to one half hour after sunset on Friday, July 17, 2015.
    Competitors must be off the water by 4:00 pm the night prior to the event (Thursday, July 23, 2015).

    Kingston Canadian Open, Lake Ontario: August 13 - 15, is off limits to pre-fish, navigation or pleasure boating one half hour after sunset Sunday, August 2, 2015 to one half hour after sunset on Friday, August 7, 2015.
    Competitors must be off the water by 4:00 pm the night prior to the event (Wednesday, August 12, 2015).

    CAN/AM Challenge, Lake Erie: September 18 - 19, is off limits to pre-fish, navigation or pleasure boating one half hour after sunset Sunday, September 6, 2015 to one half hour after sunset on Friday, September 11, 2015.
    Competitors must be off the water by 4:00 pm the night prior to the event (Thursday, September 17, 2015).

    Rules you should to be aware of:

    6. A fishing license is required and you may be asked to produce it at any time. Please ensure it is on your person at all times during the tournament. Failure to produce your license will not allow you to fish. (Conservation license not accepted). It is mandatory for the Kingston Open and Lake Erie events that Amateur/Non Boater anglers obtain a New York fishing license as well as an Ontario fishing license. Both must be presented at registration.

    8. Competitors are not permitted to obtain any information from non-competitors who have been on the tournament body of water 8 days prior to the tournament and any cut off times. Additionally, competitors are not permitted to pre-fish with non-competitors who have been on the body of water within 8 days prior to the tournament or during any cut off time. It is not permitted to pre-fish during this time with an angler who has won money on the body of water within 2 years. Competitors are not permitted to render guide services at any time doing so will result in disqualification.

    29. Pre-fishing: Rice Lake is off limits to prefish, navigation or pleasure boating one half hour after sunset Sunday, June 21, 2015 to one half hour after sunset on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Competitors must be off the water by 4:00 pm the night prior to the event (Thurs. July 2, 2015).

    31. If in case of extreme weather conditions or state of emergency, the event may be delayed, restricted, rescheduled or cancelled.

    46. Ams/Non-Boaters are required to attend a pre-orientation meeting at 3:00 pm on Thurs., July 2, 2015 (Rice Lake); Thurs., July 23, 2015 (Simcoe Showdown); Wed., Aug. 12, 2015 (Kingston Open); and Thurs., Sept. 17, 2015 (Lake Erie), to draw their Pros for the event. The order of the draw is determined by the date of registration wherein the entries are drawn daily, at the end of each day, until the field is full. The mandatory Orientation Meeting for all competitors will commence at 6:00 pm.

    47. All rules and regulations apply to all anglers, including AMs/Non-Boaters.

    Nice.

    Great opportunity at a decent price for Non-boaters to get a taste of the sport.

    The payback is fantastic.

    Not sure I understand the payback structure...
    So is the chart above saying if 35 Pros and 35 ams enter then the 1st place Pro gets $10000 and the 1st place Am also gets $10000?
