You too can be that Guy!

The ice is on its way out and bass season is officially on its way in!
Whether you are a Pro or an Am the Canadian Pro Bass Tour invites you to challenge your skills amongst the best and become one. Now is your chance to make that win mean that much more, let your supporters, sponsors and people you care about understand what you feel when your win actually means something as it becomes their win too.

In just a few months the Canadian Pro Bass Tour will be blasting off its 2016 season. The tour starts out of Golden Beach Resort on Rice Lake on June 24/25 where almost one year ago Nick Cousvis beat out 24 of the best Rice Lake anglers and took home $10,000 and the first Kawartha Cup title.

The Canadian Open of Fishing is on July 29-31 this year where last year’s winner Lenny Devos, weighed in 52.3 lbs. taking out 41 Pro’s, winning over $15,000 and the most prestigious title in bass fishing the Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing.

For those of you that can’t get enough smallmouth action perhaps the Lake Erie CAN/AM on Aug. 12-13 may just quench your thirst for last year’s winner Brent Way is back to defend his title as he took out 26 of the finest anglers from both sides of the boarder and winning not only $10,000 but the title of the inaugural CAN/AM Challenge on Lake Erie.

For all you largemouth lovers this one is for you, the one you’ve all been waiting for, the Bay of Quinte, Bay Only, on August 26-27 where you can be that guy to win the title in the inaugural year of the Quinte Pro Am (still to be named).

Rounding up the tour, is the Simcoe Showdown on Sept. 17-19 where Chris Johnston weighed in 51.2 lbs. last year beating out his big brother Cory by .1 of a pound and 27 Lake Simcoe Specialists taking home $10,000 and the Simcoe Showdown title.

So get ready to blast off into a new season where we challenge your skills to become that guy. $500 gets a Pro spot in Rice, Erie, Quinte or Simcoe, all two day Pro Am’s events, and $750 gets you a Pro spot for the Canadian Open, a three day event with no membership fees.

The Canadian Pro Bass Tour is made up of Elite Canadian Pro Bass Anglers, fish where the Pro’s fish, be proud and be that guy!
