Hey Jimmy;
The CBAF is Canadian Bass Anglers Federation. We are a group of clubs that use to be the CFT clubs. We now are independant and group together for "strength in numbers".
The Kashawig tourney was hosted by our Kawartha Lakes club and was a big success. Everyone was pleased with the lake and it will for sure be on our schedule for next near.(maybe even another kick at it this year).
Right now we have 6 clubss that are involved, we have 7 qualifying events for Angler of The Year that each club gets to pick one lake for. Plus we have an end of the year Club vs. Club challange, this year it is 2 days on Quinte.
Also each club has thier own events that all members of the CBAf can attend.
Just a group of guys that want to share fishing stories, have a good time and keep polotics etc. out of thier fishin. We have a website at www.cbaf.ca that includes a chat zone.

Hi all
Just wanted to let everyone know how proud we are of Jimmy's spelling abilities. You know he is the Highlands favorite son, and was valedictorian at the local reformatory before we released him to the wilds of Southern Ontario. :P
Glad to hear everyone had a good time. It's unfortunate though that the organizers of the Art in the Park or whatever the event in the park was called didn't have the courtesy or weren't required by the town to gate off the boat ramp area like they made the earlier Rock the Wake festival do. This small measure would have made getting the boats out a lot easier and eased everyone's frustration level I am sure.
If next year's tourney is an 'open' event, please post so the locals can get beat up again by the visitors.
Great fishery, untapped and sometimes very frustrating.

Sounds really good Pete. thanks
I apparantly don't spend enough time on this computer, and i don't hear much about changes in and around the fishin scene, unless its a rumor!
Ya Pat....i escaped...but i'll be back.
thanx Chris.
