How many opening are there on average?

I know that anglers that have fished previous years get precedence for spots, but can any one tell me on average how many spots are open when the registration begins.. Im really looking forward to getting into this event and just want a ball park on my chances of gaining entry

Emails will go out to those who participated in 2010 prior to the Official Press Release but applications will be taken on a first come first serve basis. There will be no priority given to prior competitors after the Release is out.
