Thats more weight then what I had in the boat before my motor caught on fire. Good job!!

Wiring burning luckily we go so slow I was able to smell the smoke. Actually I think the smoke was ahead of us. Just in time too it was really starting to flare up. Removed the cables for accessories from the battery and was able to start up the motor and get off the water.

Oh well I have 2 boats in for repair. I may have to borrow one to sting fish for the classic.

P.s. I am still having cold sweats watching you hoist that LM that took big largie from us on Rice Funny thing being we have had some really great prefishes this year that amounted to nothing tournament day and not one of those fish felt the scrape of a hook. The big largie we had on Rice I caught on the Tuesday prior to Sundays Tourney and we caught her under the same tree. Only Fish I hooked all season prefishing.

Congrats on your season it was a great one! See you at Rideau.

I don't want to hijack this post, but Jerome I want to pay it forward if possible for helping me and my daughters boyfriend get set up with a trolling motor earlier this year.

If you need a boat for the Classic, my ProCraft is available and all yours. And too boot, it doesn't smell very fishy. :? Maybe you can remove the jinx on it.

    Thankyou

I appreciate the offer Sir and I'm glad the trolling motor has worked out, but I shall have to decline. Albiet I found out about an hour ago I won't be getting the Skeet back until after Labour Day, I will find a way to get the putt putt ready.

I figure by saying the boys at Boatland are top notch, I should get fast tracked on the putt putt.

I probably will not get in any prefishing but I have my maps and my fish magnet. (We fished the whole season without electronics and my keen sense told me the water was warm and 2 feet deep)

The fish magnet just asked me what a fish magnet was.

    Cheers, Jerome
