Xzone lures was started in 2006 by Canadian tournament angler Mark Kulik , As a tournament angler Kulik wanted to design and handpour a bait that was unique yet would mimic many different forage species. Thus the Slammer was born! The Slammer combined with Kulik's tournament success helped vault the Slammer into the go-to bait for both competitive and recreational anglers alike!
VRX Fishing now owns X Zone lures and is bringing back the true handpour baits Mark started with using the original molds and recipes Mark made to create these amazing baits. Mark has shown us over days of training how to make the original X Zone baits Mark designed by handpouring. Mark will still be on the X Zone pro staff and helping any way he can.
All the Slammers, Swammers, Pro Leech, Shiver Shad will be in select dealers starting in May 2016. The new handpours will be easily distinguished from the injection made X Zone products made previously.
The Handpours are soft, the RIGHT texture, true action, correct colours and salt that made X Zone great and caught so many fish.
