I just returned from the Ottawa Sportsmens Show and the Big Jim Event (last evening). What a nice little show it was, but the crowds were not there.

HELLO PEOPLE...GET OUT THERE AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL VENDORS!!!

Aside from the show, I had the honour of spending a few hours with some of Canada's greatest folks in the fishing industry including Big Jim McLaughlin. I don't need to tell anyone what a wonderful man he is....I am humbled to know such a good man!

Other noteworthy people there included Bob Izumi, Dave Mercer, Paul Shibata, Charles Sim, Kert Lavigne and many many more. I was particulary delighted to meet Ed and his wife from Paddletails and Gord from Hunters Bay Marina.

What a great bunch of folks in the Ottawa Valley!

Thanks for making my trip to Ottawa memorable and for what you all add to the Canadian Fishing community!
