Immediate Release Wednesday, July 13, 2011 Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing July 21, 22 & 23, 2011 The Competitive Sport Fishing League (“CSFL”) is proud to announce Shimano Canada will once again take the lead role in this year!s Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing. It was with the leadership of Shimano Canada that the Canadian Open was re- established in Kingston,Ontario. In a prior media release Shimano Canada announced that they would be increasing their financial contribution to the 2011 Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing. To ensure all anglers take advantage of the opportunities set forth by Shimano Canada we are reiterating their contributions. Shimano Daily Performance Awards paying back $1,500 to the top Pro and $750 to the top Co-Angler. Shimano Pay to Play offers $1,000 seed money for the overall weight pool for those who participate. Entry Fee for the Shimano Pay to Play is $40 for the Pro and $20 for the Co-Angler. Power Pro Daily Big Fish Award will payout $1,000 and an additional $500 if you are fishing “red”. To be eligible for the Power Pro Additional $500 Green when fishing Red Daily Big Fish Prize, the winning team must have two spools with red Power Pro line within their boat. G Loomis Owner!s Draw is offered to all G Loomis owners. If you have purchased a rod in 2011 you will be eligible to win $1,000 at the Orientation Meeting. To be eligible for the G Loomis Owner!s Draw, please present an original 2011 receipt complete with a rod description and the name of the retailer at the Orientation Meeting. The winner must present the purchased G Loomis rod within the three days of the event. Shimano Canada has increased the payback value by over $10,000 in cash prizes. In the spirit of the Kingston Canadian Open of Fishing, Shimano Canada will be donating $3,000 to Soldiers On, an organization that supports injured or ill Canadian Forces personnel.
